Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information STOKROOM collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website, our web application, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). This page is maintained by STOKROOM to answer common privacy questions about the Service.

Information we collect

• Account information — name, email address, workspace name, and password hash when you sign up.
• Customer Data — items, locations, vendors, orders, and other content you add to your workspace.
• Usage data — pages viewed, features used, device and browser information, IP address, and timestamps.
• Billing information — plan, subscription status, and the last four digits of your card. Full card details are stored by our payment processor, not by us.

How we use information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
• To authenticate you and secure your workspace.
• To process payments and manage subscriptions.
• To send transactional emails (receipts, security alerts, product updates that you have opted into).
• To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security incidents.

Subprocessors

We use a small number of infrastructure providers to run STOKROOM:

• Cloud hosting and database — for application hosting and data storage.
• Payment processing — for subscription billing.
• Transactional email — for account and receipt emails.
• Error monitoring — for detecting and fixing bugs.

Each subprocessor is bound by a data processing agreement and only processes data on our instructions.

Data retention and deletion

We retain your Customer Data for as long as your workspace is active. You can export your data at any time from the settings page. When you delete your workspace, we remove your Customer Data from active systems within 30 days and from backups within 90 days, except where retention is required by law.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export the personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain uses. To exercise these rights, email privacy@stokroom.io.

Security

We use encryption in transit (TLS), row-level access controls, and least-privilege authentication to protect Customer Data. See our Security page for more detail. No system is 100% secure — please use a strong, unique password and enable available protections for your account.

Children

STOKROOM is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email before they take effect.
