Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of STOKROOM (the "Service"). By creating a workspace or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using STOKROOM on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

1. Accounts and workspaces

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. Workspaces belong to the organization that created them; the workspace owner controls access, roles, and data.

2. Subscriptions, trials and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. Free trials convert to paid subscriptions automatically at the end of the trial period unless cancelled beforehand from the billing portal. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees due.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to violate any law or infringe on the rights of others.
• Upload malware, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or interfere with the Service's operation.
• Resell, sublicense, or offer the Service to third parties without a written agreement.
• Store sensitive categories of data (payment card numbers, government IDs, health records) inside item metadata.

4. Your data

You retain all rights to the data you upload to STOKROOM ("Customer Data"). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Customer Data solely to provide and improve the Service. We will not sell your Customer Data. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle personal information.

5. Service availability

We work hard to keep STOKROOM available and target 99.9% monthly uptime, but the Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Scheduled maintenance and events outside our reasonable control may cause interruptions.

6. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time from the billing portal; access continues through the end of the paid period. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that pose a security risk. Upon termination you may export your Customer Data for 30 days, after which it may be permanently deleted.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, STOKROOM will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
